The first semi-final of the UEFA Euro 2024 will be played tonight in Munich between two tournament favourites in Spain and France.

And, Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona sporting director Deco will be in attendance for the match at the Allianz Arena.

The former Portugal international will be joined by Joan Soler, director of grassroots football at Barça, and club president Joan Laporta’s key advisor Alejandro Echevarria.

Barcelona players in action tonight

With Spain set to face off against France tonight at the Allianz Arena, there will be multiple players from Barcelona in action.

For Spain, Lamine Yamal is a guaranteed starter and having enjoyed a special run so far at the Euros, the 16-year-old will be eager to make an impression in the semi-finals.

Pedri would have also been a confirmed starter but the knee injury in the quarter-finals has ended his tournament. Ferran Torres and Fermin Lopez will hope to get some minutes off the bench.

Meanwhile, for France, Barcelona will have one representative in the form of Jules Kounde, who has been in excellent form at the Euros, playing at right-back.

Targets on show

Apart from the club’s players, Deco will also get a chance to look at some of Barcelona’s transfer targets in action tonight as well.

Nico Williams, the top target for Barça, will start for Spain while another player on the club’s agenda, Dani Olmo, is also certain to feature especially with Pedri ruled out.
