Barcelona could land a Hansi Flick favourite on loan if Nico Williams deal fails to materialise
La Liga giants Barcelona have been afforded the chance to move for an altogether high-profile alternative, in the case of their swoop for Nico Williams failing to come to fruition.
That’s according to German football insider Florian Plettenberg, who points towards Kingsley Coman as the player in question.
Wide-man Coman, for his part, has been deemed surplus to requirements by Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich this summer.
Amid Barcelona’s ongoing search for reinforcements out wide, it has in turn come as little surprise to see the Camp Nou tipped as one potential landing spot for the Frenchman.
What has certainly come as more of a surprise, though, is confirmation that Coman could even be secured on loan.
Contacts were this week initiated between the Barca brass and the entourage of the ex-Juventus man, with the former having been informed of the possibility arising of Coman heading out on loan.
Deco and his team of directors remain focused on thrashing out an agreement with Athletic Club standout Nico Williams, but, should as much not be found, the Bayern star could become a real option.
This comes with Blaugrana boss Hansi Flick a keen admirer of Coman’s talents, having overseen the 28-year-old’s development during a shared stint together in Munich.

Barca has been informed that a loan deal with FC Bayern is possible ✔️
