Barcelona’s board want to secure signings in 3 positions next summer
An insight into the plans of the brass at La Liga giants Barcelona for the 2025 summer transfer window has on Thursday been provided.
The info comes courtesy of Diario Sport, and points towards Deco and co. as eyeing reinforcements in three specific areas.
The positions in question are spread across attack, and defence.
When it comes to the former, the Blaugrana’s intention is to bring in fresh blood out wide, to provide Hansi Flick with alternative options to Raphinha and Lamine Yamal.
A shortlist of targets has already been drawn up, featuring the names of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Rafael Leão and more.
Turning attentions towards the back, meanwhile, and Barca have set their sights on additions at full-back.
Both sides of the club’s defence are considered as short-stocked, with additions therefore being sought at right and left-back alike.
Amongst those on the radar of the transfer team at the Camp Nou are Almería’s Marc Pubill, Benfica talent Álvaro Carreras, and Hugo Bueno – currently on loan at Feyenoord from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
