Barcelona take 30-man squad for United States tour, 13 first team debutants make the cut
Barcelona have now set off for their annual pre-season tour of the United States, which matches against Manchester City, Real Madrid and AC Milan to come. Ahead of the trip, Hansi Flick announced a 30-man squad, of which only 27 have set off from the Catalan capital.
Raphinha, Ilkay Gundogan and Jules Kounde have been taking some time off after their involvements at their respective international tournaments earlier this summer, and they will be joining up with the rest of the squad in the US.
In total, 13 of the 30 are from Barca Atletic/La Masia. This includes cousins Toni & Guille Fernandez, Noah Darvich and Marc Bernal, all of whom are said to have impressed Flick during the first couple of weeks of pre-season. For all of these players, it’s a golden opportunity to fast track their progression to the first team.

Vitor Roque, Clement Lenglet and Pablo Torre are among those to be included that could end up leaving Barcelona later this summer. This could also be the case for Raphinha, who’s once again been strongly linked with Saudi Arabia in the last few days.
