Bank On Matt Duchene Snapping Point Drought, Lifting Stars Over Blackhawks

Saturday has a loaded slate of NHL action with many thrilling matchups that we can look to hit it big on. The Stars look to rebound after their overtime loss to Wild on Friday when taking on the Blackhawks on the road.

It'll be a great night of games and we look to build on our perfect 2-0 Friday and our 32-24 record on game total and team unders this season.

Bet: Matt Duchene Over 0.5 Points (-150), Stars Blackhawks Under 5.5 goals (-105)

The Stars normally dominate this matchup with wins in 12 of their last 15 matchups against the Blackhawks and presents a solid opportunity for a bounce back game for forward Matt Duchene.

The 33-year-old veteran forward has had an unbelievable start to the season with 13 goals and 17 assists for 30 points in 34 games but has since started to slow down. The regress has hit over the last five games as he's recorded no points and a -9 rating.

He should get a solid opportunity to get back on the scoresheet against a Blackhawks team that he has dominated in the past with four goals and two assists for six points in their last six matchups.

The Blackhawks are a decent home team with an almost .500 record, which should help them keep this one close plus they will be starting Swedish netminder Arvid Soderblom, who has a solid 2.62 goals against average this season. The Stars should win this one but I wouldn't count on a puck line cover.

You should rather rely on it being a low-scoring game as Chicago will certainly struggle to score as they have the fourth-worst offence in the league, averaging 2.56 goals per game this season.
