Boisvert, 19, was playing with the Nanaimo Clippers of the BCHL where he had picked up six points (2+4) across 13 games this season.
The Mirabel, QC winger joins the Drakkar as an undrafted free agent this season. Next season, he is committed to join the University of Connecticut next season. Hence, Boisvert joins the Drakkar as the team, who currently are sitting in sixth place with a 15-8-2 record, is bolstering their roster for a playoff push.
The signing is possible thanks to the landmark decision earlier this month which allowed major junior players to be eligible to play NCAA Division-I hockey.
