Former Aussie rugby star Beau Ryan came through for a fan when she needed it the most. The fan, Kia Lettice, 22, is battling terminal cancer.

Whilst in palliative care, Lettice’s friend Mahalia Murphy, put out a call on social media asking for rugby stars Greg Inglis or Beau Ryan to come and visit her dying friend.

From Yahoo 7:

“Any assistance to boost my friend up?” Ms Murphy, an Australian rugby sevens player, wrote.

“She wants Greg Inglis or Beau Ryan to come see her. If everyone can share this or get in contact for me this would be much appreciated.”

In less than one hour, Ryan replied to the post to say he was on his way and asked his fan to “stay strong”.

Ryan reportedly drove two hours to be at his fan’s bedside. Making it an incredibly touching and special moment.

“I feel very special, especially because I love Beau Ryan,” Lettice told Yahoo 7.

“And he kissed me too,” she added.
