UNDATED. x–17s. The U-S Justice Department says it’s game over for Ticketmaster parent company LiveNation. They’re calling the ticket sales company a monopoly. Along with more than two dozen states, America’s D-O-J wants the courts to break up the company. The move is receiving notable fanfare from music fans. Reporter Pierre Thomas tells us what LiveNation is accused of.

TAG: Ticketmaster merged with Live Nation in 2010 and is the world’s largest ticket seller across live music, sports, theatre and more. During its annual report last month, the company said Ticketmaster distributed more than 620-million tickets through its systems in 2023.
