VICTORIA. x–19s. Merger talks between B-C’s two right-of-centre opposition parties to prevent vote splitting in the coming fall election have fallen apart and both leaders are blaming each other. B-C United Leader Kevin Falcon says B-C Conservative Leader John Rustad is placing his own ambition ahead of the province’s political realities while Rustad says Falcon is looking to dictate terms of any merger.
