EDMONTON. x–20s. The truck driver that caused the Humboldt Broncos crash six years ago has been given a deportation hearing. Jaskirat Singh Sidhu (JASS’-kihr-at SING sih-DOO’) was sentenced to eight years in prison for causing the crash that killed 16 people and injured 13 others. Chris Joseph, whose son Jaxon was killed, says this isn’t an unjust decision and the public shouldn’t think this is some sort of a death sentence for Sidhu.
