UNDATED. x–15s. It’s been nearly two years since the massacre at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde (yoo-VAL’-dee), Texas. Nineteen schoolchildren and two teachers died in the shooting. Today a settlement was reached with the city of Uvalde and the families. They will receive two-million-dollars from the city’s insurance coverage. Uvalde offiicials also promised to better train its police force. Josh Koskoff, the lawyer representing the families, also pushed back on city assertions that the officers did nothing wrong.

TAG: This is the first lawsuit to come after a 600-page U-S Justice Department report released in January catalogued “cascading failures” in training, communication, leadership and technology problems that day.
