CALGARY. x–21s. A deportation order has been granted for the truck driver convicted in the deadly Humboldt Broncos bus crash six years ago. Jaskirat Singh Sidhu (JASS’-kihr-at SING sih-DOO’) was sentenced to eight years in prison for causing the crash that killed 16 people and injured 13 others. His lawyer, Michael Greene plans to seek permanent residency on humanitarian grounds. He says his client now has a child who was born in Canada and that will be a key part of the application.
