The wasteland warrior of “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” has come out slightly ahead of a plump orange cat with an estimated 32-million-dollars (US) in movie theatre ticket sales over the U-S Memorial Day holiday weekend. “The Garfield Movie” earned 31.1-million-dollars in its first four days. This weekend has been a sobering one for Hollywood as one of the worst Memorial Day weekend box office showings in decades and the gap may only get bigger.
