NAT088 – (Lumby-Murder)
VANCOUVER. x–20s. The disappearance of a woman who was later found dead has left the B-C Interior village of Lumby grieving and shell hocked. Forty-four-year-old Tatjana (tat-YAH’-na) Stefanski was last seen on April 13th with her ex-husband before police say she “departed unexpectedly” with him in a black Audi. Her body was found later, and a suspect arrested but released without charge. Canadian Press reporter Brieanna Charlebois says residents described the community as something out of a quaint movie, but things have now changed.
