CANNES, France. x–15s. Director Sean Baker has been chosen as this year’s winner of the top prize at the Cannes Film Festival. Baker’s “Anora” is a story about a Brooklyn sex worker who marries the son of a wealthy Russian oligarch. After the win, Baker said he hopes his film will shed light on issues that weren’t talked about before.
