Kilmer Sports Ventures, led by Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment chairman Larry Tanenbaum, is paying 50-million dollars (U-S) for an expansion franchise to play out of Coca-Cola Coliseum starting in 2026. Tanenbaum says he hopes the team will inspire a new generation of girls and women.
