NAT073 – (Climate-Hurricane-Forecast)
UNDATED. x–10s. The U-S National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is forecasting an “extraordinary” Atlantic hurricane season this year. NOAA says forecasts show a developing La Nina conditions and above average ocean temperatures are contributing factors to the forecast of an above average hurricane season. Administrator Dr. Richard Spinrad says the forecast predicts more major hurricanes.
