OTTAWA. x–21s. Canada’s special envoy for combatting antisemitism and preserving Holocaust remembrance says better training is needed to educate people on antisemitism. Deborah Lyons testified before a parliamentary committee studying the issue on university campuses. She says many equity, diversity and inclusion strategies, which are meant to help schools and governments foster inclusive environments, fail to mention antisemitism.
