TAIPEI, Taiwan. x–17s. A U-S congressional delegation met Taiwan’s new leader today. The show of support comes just days after China held drills around the self-governing island in response to his inauguration. Representative Michael McCaul, the chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, says the delegation is there to show that the U-S Congress, on a bipartisan basis, supports Taiwan.
