Connor McDavid scored 32 seconds into the second overtime and the Edmonton Oilers overcame their captain’s double-minor penalty in the first extra period to beat the Dallas Stars 3-2 in Game 1 of the Western Conference Final. Oilers head coach Chris Knoblauch (NAHB’-lahk) says his penalty killers were hungry after McDavid was called for a double-minor.
