The head of Saskatchewan’s R-C-M-P major crimes unit says officers were certain Tiki Laverdiere (LAH’-ver-deer) was murdered months before they found her body in the province’s northwest. Superintendent Joshua Graham says key witnesses had informed investigators early about how female gang members tortured and killed the Edmonton woman while she was in North Battleford.
