UNDATED. x–24s. The mayor of B-C’s Northern Rockies Regional Municipality says he’s aware that thousands of people forced to leave due to wildfires are champing at the bit to return home. Rob Fraser admits that while the wildfire threat has eased somewhat, there are still many, many hurdles to jump before the community will be ready to welcome everyone back.
