NAT030 – (Broncos-Deportation-Hearing)
CALGARY. x–13s. The truck driver who caused the Humboldt Broncos bus crash six years ago will face a deportation hearing in Calgary today. Jaskirat Singh Sidhu (JASS’-kihr-at SING sih-DOO’) was sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to causing the crash in Saskatchewan that killed 16 people and injured 13 others. His lawyer, Michael Greene says there’s no doubt the deportation order will be granted.
