DALLAS. x–12s– Conner McDavid scored 32 seconds into double overtime as the Edmonton Oilers beat the Dallas Stars 3-2 to take a 1-0 lead in the N-H-L’s Western Conference final. McDavid had a glorious chance to win it earlier in O-T, but was denied by the sticks of both Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger (AHT -ihn -juhr) and defenceman Chris Tanev (TA’-nehv). McDavid broke down the play.
