WASHINGTON. x–26s. Hundreds of thousands of people crowded the West Lawn of the U-S Capitol last night for the National Memorial Day Concert. The 35th annual concert honours American servicemen and women, military families, veterans and all those who have given their lives for the nation. It is also broadcast to U-S military bases and stations in 175 countries and about 200 Navy ships around the world. Yolanda Adams led a rendering of the U-S National Anthem. Here’s how that sounded.
