Atletico Madrid and Inter set to compete for Atalanta’s Isak Hien

LaLiga outfits Atletico Madrid and Serie A giants Inter are in pursuit of Atalanta’s Isak Hien.

According to a report by Tutto Atalanta, Atletico Madrid and Inter are gearing up for a transfer battle for Atalanta defender Hien. La Dea have blocked all approaches for the January transfer window as they do not want to lose an important player mid-season. Any club wanting to get him will have to wait till summer.

Atletico manager Diego Simeone sees the Swedish professional as an aggressive and solid defender who can well suit himself to the playing style of Los Colchoneros. As for Inter, Simone Inzaghi is planning for the post-Francesco Acerbi era and Hien could go right in the defensive structure without much rotation in formation.

Atalanta value Hien at €30 million and he can become a significant source of transfer talk in the summer transfer window.
