Atlético Madrid, Barcelona-Linked Player Reportedly Frustrated with PSG Over Transfer Standstill

Danilo Pereira was reportedly one of the players Paris Saint-Germain was looking to offload before the summer transfer window closed on Friday. However, the veteran player remains with the French giants and is still hopeful of a departure.

Last Wednesday, RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins reported that FC Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, and FC Porto are interested in Danilo and have inquired about the transfer conditions.

Nonetheless, no move transpired for the player, and with his name in the rumor mill on the final days of the summer window, there might be a rift between the player and the club.

According to Foot Mercato journalist Valentin Feuillette (h/t Le10Sport), Danilo’s frustration with PSG is growing, and he is said to be quite angry with how things are playing out.

Despite being under contract until June 2025, Danilo isn’t part of Luis Enrique’s plans. He reportedly feels stuck at PSG, who have turned down multiple offers for him.

Although the summer window has closed in some of Europe’s top leagues, the transfer window remains open in Turkey, and a move to Saudi Arabia is still possible.
