Aston Villa, Tottenham Emerge as Top Candidates for PSG’s €35M-Rated Talent
Milan Škriniar’s position at Paris Saint-Germain appears to be slipping, with manager Luis Enrique opting for Willian Pacho and Marquinhos as his preferred center-back duo.
This shift has fueled fresh speculation about Škriniar’s future at the club. The Slovakian defender, who turned down offers from other teams during the summer transfer window, may now be on the move with the January transfer window approaching.
According to CaughtOffside, PSG could be willing to entertain offers of around €35 million, with two Premier League clubs reportedly interested.
Newcastle United are keeping a close eye on the situation, as they aim to address uncertainty over Jamaal Lascelles and Fabian Schär. The Magpies view Škriniar as a cost-effective, experienced option to strengthen their defense.
Tottenham are also said to be interested, seeing Škriniar as a reliable addition to support their main pairing of Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero. However, negotiations could be tricky, as Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou is said to view Škriniar more as a rotational player than a regular starter.
What’s the latest on Milan Škriniar?
L’Équipe reports that Skriniar is expected to make his decision this week regarding which club he will join this winter with PSG being keen on securing a loan deal with an option to buy.
Skriniar is also attracting interest from Galatasaray, Tottenham, Napoli, and Aston Villa. Napoli, however, is not willing to include a purchase option, while the Premier League clubs are particularly appealing to the defender.
