Aston Villa ready to ramp up efforts to land Sevilla star
A leading member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Sevilla finds himself front and centre on the transfer wishlist of Unai Emery’s Aston Villa.
That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Loïc Badé as the player in question.
Badé is for his part in the midst of another fine campaign to date, which has seen the Frenchman, despite Sevilla’s hit-and-miss form, continue to stand out as one of the finest defenders in Spanish football.
And such endeavours have evidently not gone at all unnoticed at Villa Park.
This comes amid confirmation on the part of Fabrizio Romano that:
‘Aston Villa are prepared to advance on Loïc Badé deal as top target with Diego Carlos leaving.’
Should an agreement ultimately be found between Sevilla and Villa, then Badé would become the 2nd arrival at the latter from Spain this month, with a deal for Levante standout Andrés Garcia already sewn up.
