Artem Dovbyk informs Girona he wants only Roma

Artem Dovbyk has personally communicated to Girona his intention to join Roma.

The Ukrainian striker is the top target for the Giallorossi club who are now locked in talks with Girona for a successful deal.

In recent hours, Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi flew to Girona with the mission to bring back Dovbyk on tomorrow’s return flight to Rome.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Dovbyk has already informed Girona of his decision to leave and move to Roma this summer.

The 27-year-old reiterated his preference for Roma and will not take into consideration any further offers from other clubs.

Dovbyk and his agents have been clear in their request to leave.

Roma are now planning to come to an agreement with Girona for the fee package that will enable Dovbyk to join the capital club.
