After Erling Haaland handed City the lead, Riccardo Calafiori levelled proceedings, and it looked as though the two sides would head into the break at 1-1.

In first half stoppage time though, Gabriel rose from a corner to nod home his second goal in two games, having proved the difference in the north London derby seven days ago too.
