New Arsenal striker target emerges, Saudi club want Salah – latest transfer news
Arsenal are reportedly ready to battle Nottingham Forest for the signature of Brentford striker Yoane Wissa this month.
The Telegraph say Wissa is on the list of forward targets for Mikel Arteta and the Gunners, having scored 11 goals in 18 Premier League games this season.
Wissa’s team-mate Bryan Mbeumo also continues to be linked to the Gunners, with L’Equipe in France the latest to report their interest and also claim Arteta is keen on Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting CP.
But Brentford boss Thomas Frank says it would take a monumental bid for the club to sell their best players this month. “I’m not even focused on us keeping our best players, I’m just expecting them to stay,” he said.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports say Saudi Arabia side Al Hilal are ready to make Mo Salah an offer to join the club.
They say the club are looking to sign a high profile replacement for Neymar who is set to leave.
Salah is out of contract at the end of the season and the latest update from him is that a resolution on an extension is not close.
Various reports claim Napoli want to sign Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United.
Calciomercato claim Napoli have agreed terms with Garnacho to join the club as a replacement for Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, who is heading to PSG.
Sky Italy, meanwhile, claim Garnacho would cost the Italian club around £59m.
Tottenham have reportedly missed out on the loan signing of Randal Kolo Muani from PSG after the striker opted to join Juventus.
Brighton have expressed an interest in signing centre-back Tosin from Chelsea, Sky Sports say.
And Fabrizio Romano says Manchester City are hoping to sign left-back Andrea Cambiaso from Juventus and are close to completing a deal for Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt.
