Arsenal have confirmed their Champions League squad for the league phase of the competition.

As per UEFA regulations, the Gunners can select a maximum of 25 players in List A, two of whom must be goalkeepers. Eight places are reserved for locally trained players.

The Gunners have now revealed their List A squad with new signings Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino, Neto, Raheem Sterling and Tommy Setford, who initially joined as an academy player.

There was a notable surprise with Kieran Tierney’s inclusion in the squad list. The 27-year-old has not played a competitive game for Arsenal since last year’s Community Shield.

He spent last season on loan with Real Sociedad. Tierney suffered a serious hamstring injury during his 2024 European Championship duty with Scotland, but he has returned to individual training.

There has also been a surprise change in Gabriel Martinelli’s short number. The Brazilian, who has worn the number 11 jersey, has been registered with the number 10 shirt.

Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly are not part of the List A squad. They can be included in the List B squad, which can be submitted at 11.00 pm on the night preceding each match.

This includes players born after January 1, 2003, who are eligible to play for the club for an interrupted period of two or three years with a maximum of one year on loan in the same association since their 15th birthday.

Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly are bound to make the list, having been involved in the Premier League matchday squads this season.
