Arian Foster will be ready for OTAs

Houston Texans Arian Foster will be able to participate in organized team activities when the team starts them on May 27.

Speaking to The Houston Chronicle, Foster said he's ready to get back on the field with his teammates.

“I’m fine,” Fister said via the newspaper. “I got cleared … so I’m feeling good.”

Foster was only able to play in eight games last year before back surgery cost him the remainder of his season. Even so, Foster isn't looking to raise any perceived expectations by considering 2014 a bounceback year.

“It’s not like I’ve got to go prove — I’m not trying to prove anything,” Foster said. “I always play this game to the best of my ability and that’s what I’m going to continue to do.”
