Argentina Superstar Back To His Best With Hattrick Heroics In Inter Milan 3-0 Monaco Champions League Win
Lautaro Martinez looked to be back to his very best in Inter Milan’s 3-0 Champions League win over Monaco.
The Argentine received sterling grades in the player ratings for the match across Italian media, as highlighted by TuttoMercatoWeb.
Over the last month or so, Inter captain Martinez has really started to find his form.
The Argentine was admittedly below par in the first half of the season. Between a lack of fitness due to a shortened preseason and some bad misses, he struggled for goals.
However, over the last few weeks, Martinez has been on fire.
Lautaro Martinez Back To His Very Best With Inter Vs Monaco Hattrick Heroics
Lautaro Martinez has virtually been scoring for fun in recent matches.
The Argentine was decisive in last week’s Champions League victory over Sparta Prague, as he has also been in Serie A matches in January.
But Martinez took it to another level against Monaco yesterday.
First, the 27-year-old put Inter ahead very early on. He did so from the penalty spot.
Erratic penalty-taking has been something of a fault in Martinez’s game during his time at Inter. But he made no mistake with his powerful effort going in despite being relatively central.
Then, Lautaro Martinez really started looking at his confident best.
The Argentine’s runs, touches, and finishes all looked at their best as he scored twice more.
