Arda Güler, Vinícius Jr & more respond to news of Lucas Vázquez’s new Real Madrid contract

A whole host of high-profile Real Madrid stars have taken to social media on Thursday, to respond to news of teammate Lucas Vázquez’s contract renewal.

The name of versatile defender Vázquez has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital across the day to date.

As much comes after the Spanish international, 24 hours on from Luka Modrić doing likewise, put pen to paper on an extension to his Real Madrid contract.

The 33-year-old is now locked down through the summer of 2025, expected to continue to act as backup to Dani Carvajal in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad over the season ahead.

And, evidently, such news has gone down altogether well amongst the rest of Los Blancos’ squad.
