April 2024 TV Preview: 15 New Shows to Watch

Spring is for new beginnings — so what better time to start a bunch of new shows? The season is already afoot — as celebrated by IndieWire’s spring TV preview — with no lull in sight for new TV premieres as April starts.

Our team is already all in on Netflix’s “Ripley,” HBO’s “The Sympathizer,” and FX’s “The Veil,” and as excited as you are for “Fallout,” and “Mary & George.” On the reality side, HBO has another docuseries deep dive, this time into the rehab-center-slash-maybe-cult Synanon, while Peacock lets Orlando Bloom loose as he tries extreme sports. Choose your own homicide detective adventure with The CW’s “Sight Unseen” or Prime Video’s “THEM: The Scare” (now an anthology), or indulge in some escapism with a “Good Times” reboot or “How Disney Built America.” Lily Gladstone returns to TV with Hulu’s “Under the Bridge,” her first series since a brilliant awards season and the finale episodes of “Reservation Dogs.”
