Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are currently locked in talks with both clubs looking to sign multiple players from the opposite team.

That the Red Devils are chasing Manuel Ugarte is well known by now with United struggling massively in the middle of the park last season.

Erik ten Hag also likes Xavi Simons, a versatile attacker capable of playing in multiple positions up top. The Netherlands international is also a target for Bayern Munich.

As relayed by The Peoples Person earlier, the French club are keen on Jadon Sancho with the player also open to a move to the Parc des Princes.

PSG-United talks

Despite patching things up with the manager and playing against Rangers at the weekend, the Englishman’s future could still lay away from Manchester.

The winger is not the only United star that the Parisian outfit are chasing with L’Equipe journalist Loïc Tanzi claiming that there is “significant interest” in Bruno Fernandes.

“Manchester United and PSG have things to talk about this summer. Ugarte, Simons on one side. Sancho, Bruno Fernandes on the other,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

The United club captain enjoyed yet another prolific campaign last term, netting 15 times while registering 13 assists. He also scored one goal at the Euros.

INEOS have so far refused to address rumours linking the Portuguese with an exit and there have been plenty, mainly with Saudi Pro League clubs.

PSG eyeing Bruno

PSG are the latest entrants and while they can certainly afford to pay top dollars for the 29-year-old, Ten Hag’s contract extension makes an exit unlikely.

The attacking midfielder wanted the club to keep hold of the Dutch manager and that has been completed. The new co-owners might even offer a wage increase to Fernandes to keep him happy.

While Simons is certainly an exceptional talent, United should not make the mistake of letting the former Sporting Lisbon star leave.

He is by far the club’s best player and has been the one signing that has changed the club for the better. INEOS cannot afford to let him go if they are serious about winning.
