Another two Real Madrid stars ruled out for a month with injury
The injury problems facing La Liga giants Real Madrid have this evening continued to mount.
This comes amid confirmation of the extent of the injuries suffered by Blancos pair Rodrygo and Lucas Vázquez.
The subject of personnel woes has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital across the day to date.
This comes after Éder Militão was stretchered out of Real’s La Liga meeting with Osasuna, with what has since been confirmed as a ruptured ACL.
The Brazilian’s season can therefore be considered as over.
Militão, though, was not the only member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad to have been forced into a premature departure from Saturday’s action at the Bernabéu.
So too were both attacker Rodrygo, and versatile defender Lucas Vázquez.
And, this evening, an insight into how long Real Madrid are expected to be without both players has been provided online.
As per a report from Blancos insider Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, Vázquez will miss at least three weeks with a left adductor injury. And Rodrygo is also facing up to around a month on the treatment table, with a ‘rectus femoris (thigh) injury’ in his left leg.
Lucas Vázquez has a left adductor injury and will undergo further tests on Monday, but will be out for at least three weeks, according to the club
