Only four matches have been played in the 2024-25 season up to now, and Real Madrid are already facing a full-blown injury crisis. They had David Alaba already injured from the last season, while Eduardo Camavinga and Jude Bellingham also suffered injuries at the start of this season.

Then only in the last week, several more Merengue players joined these injured players in the infirmary. Dani Ceballos was injured in the match against Real Betis, while Eder Militao, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Ferland Mendy were injured while training with their national teams.

But this still is not the end of the matter. As MARCA has reported, another Real Madrid player, Arda Guler, went down during the match between Turkey and Wales after receiving a harsh tackle in the 90th minute of the game.

He had to be substituted after being treated by his side’s medical staff on the pitch. He had to limp off the pitch and was also seen limping as he left the locker room after the match. Ice was also seen applied to his calf, but this issue does not seem to be a serious problem for the Turk.

Guler started this game for Turkey which ended in a 0-0 draw. Overall, this was a difficult game for Guler and both the teams. Both sides had their chances, but could not score a goal in this opening fixture of the UEFA Nations League. The Turks had a visible disadvantage in this game as Baris Yilmaz was sent off for two yellow cards in the 62nd minute and they had to play with 10 men.

Hopefully, this blow to Guler will not have an impact on Real Madrid. The Merengues are already facing an injury crisis, and will have their fingers crossed so they don’t have any more players injured in this international break.
