Another big night awaits at the Etihad tonight as Manchester City play to stay in the Champions League
We all know what is at stake for Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium tonight against Club Brugge. City’s Champions League campaign can either live on or end tonight. A win and Pep Guardiola’s side will progress to the next stage of the competition. A loss or a draw and they will crash out of the Champions League. Another big Champions League awaits at the Etihad tonight.
The Manchester City fans have a big role to play for their team. But we’ve seen the City fans create a cauldron at home many times before. Real Madrid have previously crumbled at the home of Pep Guardiola’s side in years gone by. We saw it last Saturday when City beat Chelsea 3-1 win at home. The atmosphere the City faithful can create makes it one of the most intimidating stadiums for opposing teams to play in. There is no doubt, given the importance of tonight’s match, that the Etihad Stadium atmosphere will be ramped up once again. The hope is that the City players can rise to the challenge that is presented on the pitch by Club Brugge and put on a performance to keep the atmosphere as intimidating as possible tonight.
