Andy Reid and Taylor Swift shared a sweet hug on field after Chiefs defeated Buffalo

There’s one non-football question Chiefs players and coaches have been asked over and over during the last 16 months.

What’s superstar singer Taylor Swift like?

Other than Swift’s boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, no one could answer that question better than coach Andy Reid.

Reid talked about his past ties to Swift while on former quarterback Donovan McNabb’s podcast in October 2023.

“Like you, I knew her from Philadelphia. Her dad (Scott) is a big NFL fan so I had met her when she was real young,” Reid said. “I joked about setting Kelce up, but um, you know, I’m just saying.

“She’s a good girl. She’s into it (football). And we’re glad she’s here.”

That showed after last year’s AFC Championship Game when a photographer caught Reid pointing at Swift from the stage at M&I Bank after the Chiefs beat the Ravens.

There was no pointing on Sunday when the Chiefs defeated the Bills 32-29 and advanced to Super Bowl LIX.

This time, Reid and Swift sweetly hugged on the field at Arrowhead Stadium.

That was Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy realizing that Swift is taller than him in the video above. Funny stuff.

Here are some other photos of Swift and Kelce from the postgame celebration at Arrowhead Stadium.
