Anderson Silva open to boxing Paul brothers following fight with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

After a highly productive career in MMA, Anderson Silva is taking on a new challenge. The former UFC middleweight champion will try his hand at boxing in a match against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on Saturday.

This isn't going to be a one-fight deal for Silva, however. Once Saturday's fight is over, Silva is looking for another opponent, and he's open to that opponent being one of the Paul brothers, according to TMZ.

Silva said "everything is possible" regarding his next fight. He mentioned that he "respects" both Jake and Logan Paul.

Jake and Logan Paul continue boxing career

After making their name on YouTube, Jake and Logan Paul have given boxing a shot. Both have experienced varying degrees of "success" in the ring. Jake Paul is 3-0 as a boxer, with his wins coming against another YouTuber, former NBA player Nate Robinson and ex-MMA fighter Ben Askren.

Logan Paul lost a fight against YouTuber KSI, but still managed to book an exhibition with Floyd Mayweather. That fight went the distance, but no winner was announced. Mayweather appeared to toy with Paul throughout the fight, rarely throwing punches.

The Paul brothers' fights haven't been a masterclass in technique, and Silva seemed to notice that, saying, "People like to see the big shows, the entertaining shows."

Despite the quality of the fights, the Paul brothers still seem to draw eyes. For Silva that might be all that matters right now.
