Anderlecht’s Nigerian winger set for permanent Swedish return with IFK Värnamo
Het Nieuwsblad are reporting that Anderlecht’s Nigerian winger Ishaq Abdulrazak is set to leave the club. The 22-year-old is set for a permanent return to Sweden, having joined Anderlecht from Norrköping in the summer of 2022. IFK Värnamo will be Abdulrazak’s new club, ending his time in Belgium before his contract expires, The Nigerian had signed a deal until 2026 in Brussels.
Abdulrazak only made six senior appearances for Anderlecht during his first season, spending more time with the sides second team, Anderlecht futures. He had loan spells back in Sweden with Häcken during 2023, where he played 16 games and scored once. He also spent time in Norway with Odd. Prior to joining Anderlecht, Abdulrazak had played 64 games for Norrköping, scoring twice.
Anderlecht have been one of the more active teams in the transfer window, selling Anders Dreyer and adding a number of other players to fill out the squad.
