Alvaro Morata undergoing Milan medical

Alvaro Morata is currently undergoing his medical examinations ahead of completing his transfer move to Milan.

According to a report by Sky Italia, Alvaro Morata is undergoing his medicals in Madrid before flying to Milan to sign a contract with the Serie A club. Atletico Madrid could not hold on to their star striker as the Rossoneri were adamant about getting him so much that they activated the release clause.

Milan are set to pay €13 million as determined in the release clause to Los Colchoneros. The 31-year-old has verbally accepted the Italian side’s proposal and now he will sign a 4-year contract with the option of a fifth soon, which will earn him €5 million plus bonuses per season.

The move was called by club advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic as he demanded the availability of a lethal striker in the team since last season.

Morata played a pivotal role in Spain’s EURO 2024 triumph and has been the star for Atletico Madrid on numerous occasions throughout the years.
