Alumni: Colorado Avalanche Signs 2024 Draft Pick to Entry Level Contract
The Colorado Avalanche announced yesterday that they signed centerman Nikita Prischepov to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Prischepov, 20, is coming off of a 67 point (22+35) season with in his third season with the Victoriaville Tigres.
He was the Avs' seventh round pick in 2024, after previously going undrafted the last two seasons.
This signing will also likely mark the end of his QMJHL career as he's been assigned to the Avalanche's AHL affliate, the Colorado Eagles to start the season.
If he does not play in the league once again, the Orenburg native will have finished his tenure in the league with 135 points (45+90) across 191 games -- all for the Tigres.
While there was not guarantee that Prischepov would return to the QMJHL, he did seem like he could use the overage year to really become dominant at this level.
