Alphonso Davies forced off injured during Copa América semi

Canada lost their captain with 15 minutes to go in their Copa América clash with Argentina on Tuesday.

Alphonso Davies was caught by Gonzalo Montiel, and tangled legs saw the defender pick up an ankle injury.

Visibly distraught, the Bayern Munich man tried to continue but decided he couldn’t and handed the armband off.

It will be a worrying sight for the Bundesliga club and Real Madrid.

The LaLiga giants have been heavily linked with a move for the Canadian.
