Alina Muller Turns On The Gas, Opponents Beware

Boston Fleet’s Alina Muller had the best game of the season on Wednesday night, leaving the building with three points [one goal, two assists].

The Boston Fleet faced the Toronto Sceptres on January 22nd, 2025 at Tsongas Center.

The two teams had previously met twice, however the Fleet walked away with their first victory of the three matchups.

The victory can’t be mentioned without bringing up the Alternate Captain’s points.

Heading into the matchup, Alina Muller had one assist in ten games played, not the start she had been looking to have. However something clicked in Wednesday’s game, as she not only scored the first goal of the night (and her first of the season) but also tallied up two assists. The Fleet walked away with a four-to-one win, Muller contributing to three of the four goals.

As for her record night, Muller said, “it took longer than I'd hoped honestly. I got a lot of support from my teammates and the coaches, just staying patient and at the end I just want to help team.”

Muller did just that. The Fleet’s win secures them some cushion in fourth place in the league.

They now have fifteen points, which is a four point lead over Toronto who remains in last place in the league with eleven points.

The Fleet play again on Sunday January 26th against the Minnesota Frost, in Minnesota, where fans are eager to see what else Muller has in her.
