Alexis Saelemaekers speaks to the media ahead of Sporting Braga: “I feel at home here.”
Roma attacker Alexis Saelemaekers joined Claudio Ranieri in today’s pre-match press conference to discuss this week’s Europa League fixture.
“The coach asked me where I feel I can play best. Where I can help the team I will do it, only the team counts, my performances are secondary,” he said.
“I immediately felt like I was part of a family here, I feel good here. The most important thing for me is to help the team.”
“The future won’t depend on me, now my head is in Rome and that’s all I focus on,” he added.
“The atmosphere in the locker room has never changed. We players have always been professionals and we have always given our all.”
“Ranieri has given us an extra push to get back to the top.”
“The injury represented a really difficult time for me personally.”
“It’s true that De Rossi wanted me, but I came to do well for Roma. My future? I hope to be a protagonist here, I’ll give it my all.”
