Alex Steeves, Justin Hryckowian And Dylan Garand Win December AHL Awards
Toronto Marlies forward Alex Steeves, Texas Stars forward Justin Hryckowian and Hartford Wolf Pack goaltender Dylan Garand are the AHL's award winners for December 2024.
Steeves takes home Player of the Month honors, Hryckowian wins Rookie of the Month, and Garand is named Goaltender of the Month.

The 25-year-old Steeves became the Toronto Marlies all-time leading scorer and recorded 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) in December. He has 28 points in 22 AHL games this season and is pointless in four games with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Hryckowian had seven goals and 10 points in 10 games in December and has 28 points in 28 games this season. The 23-year-old made his NHL debut with the Dallas Stars on Dec. 29.
Garand made six starts in December and recorded a 4-2 record with a 1.35 GAA, .958 SP and two shutouts.
The 22-year-old has a 9-4-2-2 record with a 2.25 GAA and .926 SP this season.
